This was just too cute not to post.

I'm glad they were convicted if they did it without being in physical danger. They deserve to be in jail. I joke about it but that's all it ever is, A JOKE.

One came from Houston, and killed her ex to get the Kids (Piper Roundtree).  The other (donna Blanton) had gambling debts and killed her husband (of 6 months) for the insurance money.

Both got Life (25 years).  Double standards of men and women killing spouses?

While I see a classic double standard as at least one was totally premeditated (Piper) and the other had strong indications of being premeditated, I think the jury just did not see them as a big threat like perhaps an abusive murdering husband would have been.

I guess what I am saying is that altho I see a double standard, I can live with it.  Neither of these ladies (term used lightly) are Mouranos.

WHat choice do you have other than to just live with it.

I meant it was not going to become a cause celebre' of mine. Of course I am going to live with it. Besides, I have been to the Women's max security prison (when I worked at DOC) and they are not going to have it easy (both are not what you would call 'tough' women).
