the effects of little sleep.

Hi everyone. Hope everything is going well for y'all. Not much going on here in Nebraska. Same ole shit different day. Still job hunting. Not much to pick from around here.
I went to my daughters tball practice last night. (Sorry, probably going to start ranting now.) It was ridiculous. I'm starting to regret not volunteering to coach. I had thought about it then decided that I wouldn't have time. (Now, I have nothing but time. Go figure.) Anyway, I don't understand these coaches. We have several kids that are great at following instructions and doing what they are told but then we have one kid that is constantly rolling on the ground pretending to be a dog in the middle of the in field or tackling his teammates. I'm afraid that he or one of the other kids are going to get hurt. Last week he wasn't paying attention and accidently hit one of the other kids with a bat. The coach didn't say anything to him. It gets frustrating when you see the other teams with coaches that actually try and get the team to pay attention to what they are doing and your coach doesn't seem to even care. I discovered last night that I'm not the only parent that feels this way either. Ok, sorry. I'm done ranting.
Well, we got a little rain last night. not near enough to help with this drought. I heard yesterday that if this drought doesn't end soon they could have to shut down a local power plant. Which needless to say would be disastrous to our area.
My youngest is teething. Oh, that's alot of fun. The fever, the endless crying. It makes for a long night. She is doing rather well today. I think I'm going to walk them downtown today and we can get ice cream if they all behave. I wish my scanner was working I'd post their pic. They are really cute. But then again I'm biased. hahaha.
Well, I think I'm going to go. I still need to get some stuff done today. Imajinit warned me that this was addictive. I think he's right. Hopefully, I can come up with a little more interesting things to post. I better go. my 6 month old wants to help me type. haha. bye for now.

it might take a little time and a couple blogs to get your name more well known, but the more you comment on other people's blogs, the more they'll come and check out yours...

sounds like you've got your hands full with motherhood up there... interesting to hear that y'all are going thru a drought though... my sister (and mom) live in Northern Iowa, and they're in the middle of a flood!  I'm sure they would be happy to share their rain with you.

Hope ya find a job soon Darlin'... take it easy...

Aye good luck with the job hunt.

The T-Ball thing reminds me of a Flintstones episode. Near the end Barney says something about "What they need is the fundamentals" to which Fred, in a shocking display of wisdom inters "What they need is the fun."

Since you have time, I'll let you fill in the rest of the commentary

Welcome to blogging, please forget that I am here. (Hard to write with so many people standing over your shoulder)

thanks guys. I'm glad that you are enjoying what I'm posting. Actually, i'm kind of enjoying reading peoples comments. I think that is what makes it addictive.
I like responding to peoples posts. I am trying to avoid the major argumentive ones. I don't see the point in yelling at each other in the comments. Anyway, thanks again. take care and watch for todays post. it's about the kid's scrimmage. It was fun.
