My daughter is just too good of a salesperson.

Yep, I'm starting to hate girl scout cookies. Dont misunderstand me, I love eating them but I have 341 boxes of girl scout cookies sitting in my living room right now. That's right 341 boxes.
My daughter got to sell cookies for the first time this year and she set a record for this troop. I'm really proud of her. She set her mind to a goal and then broke that goal 3 times over. Now, I find myself wishing that she had stopped at the 100 box goal she started with. Especially when I have to chase my one year old away from the boxes. Stephanie seems to think that she should get her pick of the cookies.
I cant wait til these cookies are out of my living room but I'm not looking forward to spending a couple hours calling people to tell them that their cookies are here. Plus who knows how long driving around delivering these cookies.
So wish me luck. Hopefully, I'll make it through the next two weeks of delivering with my sanity and without gaining several pounds from the 11 boxes that my husband ordered.

Only 341 boxes?
My poor wife volunteered to be the troop "cookie mom", which entailed dispensing all of the cookies for our daughters group of girl scouts.
The 12 girls sold almost 3000 boxes of cookies, my 10 year old daughter took on the challenge of selling 500 !!!
All of those cookies have passed thru my truck, my dining room, and my aching back - that's 250 cases of cookies.....we have set up at Wal-Mart on weekends, Flea markets, the Moose and Elks lodges, as well as chased down the pre-sold orders.....
If I never see another girl scout cookie, it would be OK.......worse yet Boy Scout Pop Corn is just around the corner.....

Moral; no good deed goes unpunished.....good luck with your deliveries

lol. Wow. I guess her 341 is nothing compared to that. We havent set up any tables these are just the preordered. I'm so glad that my son isnt old enough for boy scouts yet. Good luck with the boy scout popcorn and your poor back (especially if your son does as well as it sounds like your daughter did.) I'm slowly discovering that your Moral is completely true. Thanks.
