I bust a gut watching Brian Regan.

Fred Stollar and Tim Allen are funny.  As is Drew Carey.

I also really like Bob Newhart and Carrot Top.

Bill Cosby.  His fatherhood was dead on!

Jamie: I like Tim Allen. Not big on Newhart or Carrot top. I don't think I've ever heard of Brian Regan, or Frank Stollar. Carey isn't too bad either.
Guy: I remember watching Cosby doing standup on TV when I was little. He's great.

I like George Carlin and Bill Maher

Oh, and of course, Jon Stewart

And a Canadian comedian, Brent Butt (yes, that is his real name...makes ya wonder why he chose comedy) has my favorite show, Corner Gas

George Carlin is my other favorite. (Brent Butt, oh, he would need a sense of humor growing up.)

I think Carlin is one of the best.

I grew up listening to Cosby albums.

"The Newhart" show was great. Larry and the Darryls were so weird, even Bob himself couldn't find funnier characters for his subsequent shows.

I also like Dave Chappelle.

Icon: I like Chappelle. His show is pretty good too.
Guy: let's see, I was 4 yrs. old in 83. I probaby saw it in a rerun.
Gid: I've heard of Dennis Miller.{who hasnt?} But I don't know Steven Wright. What kind of things does he do?

I agree 100% + George Carlin

His stuff is very surreal and philosophical. Such as: I have a map of the United States. Actual Size. Whenever someone asks me where I live I say, "E5."

Steven Wright is my favorite but I love comedy so have several that I really enjoy including Larry the Cable Guy among others.

I'll give a shout out to Kelly Monteith. Seriously funny guy. One of those comedians Letterman hung out with in the early days who never found the same level of fame or exposure. Too bad.

If you can ever catch his old BBC series, I recommend it.

I remember Kelly Monteith. Also his brother. I can't remember his first name, but he was teamed with a woman. The name of the team was Monteith and Rand.
